Kelly H. - Clinic Manager Emeritus

Kelly started out as a client with a very sick kitty. The more time she spent at the clinic, the more she decided that she loved the environment. Kelly left the corporate setting she was used to and became part of the vet world instead — and loves it.

Kelly lives in St. Louis Park with her husband and two Pomeranian dogs.

Laurie - Clinic Manager

Laurie grew up in the Brooklyn Center area and has always loved animals. She started working in a Veterinary office in 1979 where she worked as a receptionist, assistant and technician. She worked there on and off for the next 30 years while her 4 children were growing. She settled in the front office as it was easier to reduce her hours in the summer at that role. In 2008 she moved to a clinic in St Louis Park as a receptionist, before taking on the Practice Manager role. She is very happy to become part of the City Cat Clinic family this year, 2023.

Laurie lives in Maple Grove with her husband, her son, and dog named Mauer.

Kelly C. - Head Technician

Kelly, our head technician, came here from Atlanta, Georgia in 2002, where she had been working as an Emergency Veterinary Technician for six years. Kelly now loves being at a cat only clinic — she doesn't miss wrestling the large dogs at all.

Kelly lives here in the Twin Cities with her two daughters, two cats and two dogs.

Tara - Technician

Tara grew up with many animals on a hobby farm in northern MN. Her love for animals started there and has only grown. She has since personally cared for cats, dogs, rats, reptiles, amphibians, and insects. She graduated from Ridgewater College in 2017 with an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology and has a special interest in learning about and working with animal behavior.

Because of Tara's passions for cats, she chose to seek out working at a cat only clinic and joined CCC in 2022. Tara, along with her husband, serves 3 Devon Rex's named Orion, Mere, and Rue. Each Rex has a personality all their own.

Kay - Receptionist

Kay's love for animals started early, growing up with labrador retrievers and a cat, and at one point living on a farm with cows and horses. She has never been without either a cat or a dog or both. She started working in vet medicine in 2000 and has had various roles including receptionist and vet assistant.

Kay relocated back to Minnesota from the California desert, and lives in Edina with her two cats Buster and Data.
