Dr. Suzanne Richcreek
A 1993 graduate of Iowa State University of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Suzanne Richcreek
opened City Cat Clinic in August 1997. Dr. Richcreek believed there was a need for a place
where cat lovers and their cats would be treated with compassion, expertise and gentle care.
Dr Richcreek's dream of a place where people and their cats aren't rushed and receive special,
personalized attention is something that she continues to strive toward daily.
Dr. Richcreek and her husband have two cats and three dogs.

Dr. Steffen Runquist
Dr. Steffen Runquist graduated from Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.
Dr. Runquist worked at a cat-only practice outside Detroit, Michigan for 5 years and then took
some time to travel for Purina Cat Chow before moving to Minneapolis in the summer of 2004.
Educating cat owners on how to best take care of their cat's needs throughout their lives is
a priority for her in her practice.

Dr. Robert Schmitt
Dr. Robert Schmitt left the music industry to follow his dream of becoming a veterinarian. He
moved from New York to attend vet school at the University of Minnesota. He grew to love
the cities (although he does miss the NY bagels and pizza) and was thrilled to find a place at
a feline exclusive hospital. Dr. Schmitt believes that feline exclusive clinics are uniquely positioned
to address the issues facing our feline friends in an environment that is minimally stressful
(for patient and owner alike!).
Dr. Schmitt currently lives in Minneapolis with his girlfriend and their four kitties – Mojomo, Bijou, Luna, and Spike.

Kelly - Clinic Manager
Kelly started out as a client with a very sick kitty. The more time she spent at the
clinic, the more she decided that she loved the environment. Kelly left the corporate setting
she was used to and became part of the vet world instead — and loves it.
Kelly lives in St. Louis Park with her husband, three cats (two Persians and an Egyptian Mau) and a dog.

working as an Emergency Veterinary Technician for six years. Kelly now loves being at a cat
only clinic — she doesn't miss wrestling the large dogs at all. Kelly lives here in the
Twin Cities with her two daughters and two cats.

Little Gray
Little Gray came to the clinic after being relinquished by her owner. She was always the quiet, gentle girl who loved to sleep in a heated bed.
We miss her daily and hope she is pain-free and happy in kitty heaven.
